The jewellery collection of The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague was gradually assembled in the course of the museum's existence. It documents the development of goldsmithing with particular emphasis on that of Central Europe, from the earliest period until today. Apart from jewels, the museum's collection contains etuis, cases, pocket watches, liturgical objects and unique pieces dating from the times of King Charles IV and Emperor Rudolf II.
